You're Officer Bob and you're in hot pursuit of lawbreakers. Every day you've got to meet your quota of arrests, so make sure to capture all the criminals and trouble-makers you can. When you send the subject of an all points bulletin to jail, you'll earn bonus time, extra fuel and enhancements for your squad car. If you fail to meet your daily quota, shoot an innocent vehicle, crash your car, or run out of gas, you'll get a demerit. If you get too many demerits, the game is over.
